Kelsey Loupy, PhD, MA
I work with the power of relationships for personal and collective wellbeing. I value safe, real, vulnerable, and present connection.
I am a physiologist and psychotherapist with my feet planted somewhere between the measurable and immeasurable. For many years, I studied the role of nature in mental health, in particular how the gut microbiome affects stress resilience. I have also supported curriculum development for psychedelic-assisted therapy training programs in CO and beyond.
As a therapist, I offer support and guidance to help you listen and remember your own instincts. I believe that our outer wilderness reflects our inner wilderness, choice is a sign of health, and joy is a radical expression in an often oppressive world.
Imagine wandering down the trail of your soul. This trail is safe, you are the guide, and I am with you. Together, we can identify emotions or areas of life that feel “overgrown,” “blocked,” or “lost.” We can follow the body’s internal map toward what feels good— resourcing, relieving, empowering, or fulfilling— to help you find your way. I combine a mixture of somatic, attachment, existential, mindfulness, parts work, and soul work with nature.
My own spiritual practices include time with the nonhuman world: rafting, backpacking, bikepacking, and solos into the desert. I incorporate wilderness immersions as part of my therapeutic work, and I offer integration support for folks returning from big outdoor experiences.

Offerings
Psychotherapy
Individual therapy sessions. I approach this work collaboratively, offering sessions that are co-created with you. Indoor, outdoor, nature-based.
Coaching and Reintegration
Therapeutic coaching to help you with preparation, integration, and making meaning out of your outdoor experiences. Clarify your intentions, build emotional and spiritual readiness, and integrate your personal learnings. Endurance races, wilderness adventures: running, cycling, backpacking, bikepacking, mountaineering, rafting
Nature-Based Intensives
Multiple hours-long, full-day, or weekend-long experience. Here, the natural world is combined with EMDR, parts work, ceremony, and/or wilderness soul journeys.

Periodically, I offer group-based, therapeutic river trips. River time offers a life-sustaining reset for body, mind, and soul. Included are mindful and embodied practices, nature experientials, reflective questions, solo wandering, play, and group integration.
My approach
Embodied Mindfulness
Connect with your raw, natural sense of self. Together, we can be with all that arises, attending with open hearts. Awareness invites empowered choice.
Somatic Connection
Shift your attention to the present moment and tune into your senses. Follow the wisdom of your body to release energy and return flow back to all of your physiological systems.
Eco-Relational Healing
Develop a reciprocal relationship with Earth as a healing support. Explore your own ecological gifts and inherent belonging. Feel your authentic way of being in the world.
